Week 7 Day 5; Adaptability
1 Corinthians 12:14-15 "For in fact the body is not one memeber but many. If the foot should say, " Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body?"
God has each given His children spirtual gifts. No one is alike-each man is unique. So many times it becomes hard to be content in what God has given or hasn't given us. That's exactly where the enemy wants us. He wants too come into the body and divide. We need to stand firm on he promises God has given us and unite agaisn't division. Many times I have looked to other members of the body and have desired to have the same heart and talents as they. Little did I know this girl had the same convitctions and desires as myself. Instead of looking down upon myself or others, God created a unique opportunity to be encouraged and built up by this friendship. This is what the body should look like- not breaking other or ourself down, but building up the church. God created man equal, with a heart to worship God. God's greatest example of serving Him is to serve others.
Application: Talk to someone about what spiritual gift God has given them, and instead of being jealous I will encourage them.

Week 23 Luke 5:24 “But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”- He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed and go to your house.” When Jesus cleansed those who asked to be cleansed, we see that He always did so with greater purpose in mind. Week 5 Day 5; Obedience Hebrews 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable to you. Being in Ignite has been such a blessing to me through all the staff who give up their time and rights to serve us. With that, we should be respectful and listen to what they have to say. This verse has reminded about what Austin talked about eariler this week about being a liability versus an asset. We signed up fot this program to surrender our rights and privleges because we wanted to see change. If we continue to walk in our own ways because we think we know better, we're only hurting ourselves. We're wasting their time and effort when their just trying to bless us and help us seek the Lord. Who wouldn't want that? So many times I have found myself becoming overwhelmed by the amount of things I need to do that I just end up not getting

Week 19 Psalm 27:13-14: “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!” We know that all things work together for good to those who love God. For each heart that loves, God has set a purpose. I’ve heard a lot that our culture is one of the most impatient and there is good reason for that. We have everything we want almost instantly; no need to wait anymore. But I think one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned to let got year down my pride. I always thought I obtained godly characteristics, but I know I always fall short of those expectations. God has always had a plan and when I can’t see the blueprint clearly I freak and complain.
