Week 2; Day 3

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

How amazing it is that we can ask God and He willingly gives. So, going off the last blog we see that fear of the Lord is wisdom. When we walk with God, we also walk in His wisdom. If we are continually in fellowship with the Master, we begin to see His plan. Someone recently told me concerning faith and the mustard seed, that we could move mountains. I never understood how, or understood the measure of faith. It was always something I had learned but never truly made any sense. He told me it wasn't the amount of faith that could move mountains, but God's will. God will, aligned with ours could move mountains if we asked. We ask for God to reveal His wisdom to us, but sometimes it isn't always for us to know what He is doing. When I came to Ignite, I didn't really understand why I was here, except that God called me. And I still can't truly understand, but I know this time is in His will.

Application: Throughout the rest of our training, I will wait upon God to reveal His will to me and share it with a roommate.

Week 23 Luke 5:24 “But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”- He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed and go to your house.” When Jesus cleansed those who asked to be cleansed, we see that He always did so with greater purpose in mind. Week 5 Day 5; Obedience Hebrews 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable to you. Being in Ignite has been such a blessing to me through all the staff who give up their time and rights to serve us. With that, we should be respectful and listen to what they have to say. This verse has reminded about what Austin talked about eariler this week about being a liability versus an asset. We signed up fot this program to surrender our rights and privleges because we wanted to see change. If we continue to walk in our own ways because we think we know better, we're only hurting ourselves. We're wasting their time and effort when their just trying to bless us and help us seek the Lord. Who wouldn't want that? So many times I have found myself becoming overwhelmed by the amount of things I need to do that I just end up not getting

Week 24 Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have toward you, says the Lord, plans of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Looking back over the past six months has been nothing short of the Lord’s plan all along. In the midst of trouble it’s hard to see the light at the end, but He’s always been there. I see His faithfulness in every good or hard day. During the presentation of the Potter, Pastor Michael mentions that every piece of clay has a specific purpose. Whether that clay is used immediately or in years, it never goes to waste. I can look back on my own life and think of every time I believed that this or that could never bring glory to my Creator. But once again, He has never failed me. He doesn’t just have one plan for us although we’re still headed towards one destination. There are many plans He has set in motion for us.
